The motorcycle was a gift from the iconic American company in June celebrating its 110th anniversary at a biker rally in Rome. Soon thereafter the pope donated the bike to Catholic charity Caritas to raise money to restore Rome’s Don Luigi hostel. The Dyna Super Glide model is expected to bring in well over the 25,000-euro sticker price now that it’s value has been boosted by the fame of its past owner and his autograph. Some speculate that the Harley Davidson company will buy it back to add to its museum.
