Man arrested for spying on ex-girlfriend

(ANSA) – Milan, October 24 – A 40-year-old man was arrested on stalking charges for spying on his ex-girlfriend in Bollate, near Milan, Carabinieri police said Thursday. The man, whose identity was not released, reportedly wore a wig, moustache and sunglasses so as not to be recognized while he tagged his ex and spied on her while she was at work.

Police arrested the man on Wednesday night after the mother of a student at the school where the ex-girlfriend works noticed the man as he was donning his disguise and became suspicious.

The former girlfriend told police she had been abused by her ex and had to change her home and job after leaving him a year ago over fears he would stalk her.
