PLent, he said, is a time “to adjust one’s life to get closer to the Lord”./PPThe pope warned against “feeling you are better than others”./PPHypocrites, he told a Mass in the Vatican, “dress up as good people…they disguise themselves as saints”./PPThere was no place in the Church for them, he said, exclaiming ‘Basta’. “They don’t understand that no one is righteous by himself…and we all need to be justified”.
